Aims and Scope
The Korean Journal of Critical Care Medicine (abbreviated as Korean J Crit Care Med) is the official publication of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine founded in 1980. The journal has been published since 1986. It covers all aspects of acute and emergency management for critically ill patient. Highly qualified peer-reviewed research articles and clinical cases are published in this quarterly journal (February, May, August and November). It provides a forum for exchange of research ideas and clinical experiences among critical care practitioners.
All or part of the Journal is indexed by KCI (Korea Citation Index), KoreaMed, KoMCI (Korean Medical Citation Index), Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCO, DOI, Google Scholar, NRF (National Research Foundation of Korea), ScienceCentral, and also can be downloaded in homepage of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine (http://www.ksccm.org/) and the journal site (http://www.kjccm.org/).
Korean Journal of Critical Care Medicine (Taehan Kugup Ŭihakhoe chi ISSN 1229-4802) was first published in 1986. Articles were
written in Korean and English until 2013. From 2014, The Korean Journal of Critical Care Medicine continues to publish articles in English.
